Product Introduction

It is a wide-angle infrared camera module developed based on the Raspberry Pi platform, with a resolution of 11.94 million pixels. It is equipped with a 120° wide-angle lens, suitable for low-light and dark environments. An external infrared light source is required for supplementary illumination. Due to the absence of an infrared filter, the daytime effect will appear in red. When both environments need to be compatible, please inform the customer service. Please specify the wavelength of the infrared lamp you are using so that the customer service can be contacted for customization. ODM and OEM services are provided.

Raspberry Pi Wide Angle Camera V3 IMX708 number of active pixels 4608 (H) × 2592 (V) approx. 11.94 M pixels.

It can be used for both daytime and nighttime shooting. However, due to the absence of an infrared filter on the lens, the color during daytime shooting appears slightly reddish. It can be used for infrared photography and shooting in low light (dusk) conditions (requires an infrared light supplement).Video supports 1080p at 50 FPS, 720p at 100 FPS, and 480p at 120 FPS.

The applicable motherboards are PI2B, PI3B, PI3B+, PI4B, and PI ZERO. A 22-pin to 15-pin adapter cable (purchased separately) is required.

IMX708 System Outline.

IMX708 is a CMOS active pixel type image sensor which adopts Sony's back-illuminated and stacked CMOS imagesensor to achieve high sensitivity, low noise, and high-speed image capturing. It is embedded with backsideilluminated imaging pixel, low noise analog amplifier, column parallel A/D converters which enables high speedcapturing, digital amplifier, image binning circuit, timing control circuit for imaging size and frame rate, CSl-2 imagedata high speed serial interface, PLL oscillator, and serial communication interface to control these functions.Several additional image processing functions and peripheral circuits are also included for easy system optimizationby the users.
